Free 411 Directory Assistance for Business Travelers

I really hate paying for 411 directory assistance.  I think it is completely unreasonable what phone carriers charge for their directory assistance.  Anytime I can find a way to get something for free, especially this, I’m all over it!

Google’s GOOG 411 is an awesome service where you can call to get phone numbers absolutely free.  Here’s how it works:

• 1. Dial 1-800-GOOG-411 (1-800-4664-411)
• 2. Say the city & state where you need a number
• 3. Say the business name or business category

That’s it!!  Additionally, upon getting the number you wanted, you can also say “Text Message” or “Map It” and GOOG 411 will text you information on the business or will send you a map of the neighborhood.
